We are delighted to announce the first art therapy classes held as part of the 'Colours of Harmony' - Accessible Culture project.
The classes were led by saxophonist, author of lyrics and music, and music therapist Magdalena Janas. A total of fourteen children from the boarding school belonging to the Special School and Educational Centre No. 10 in Wrocław took part. The children were invited to actively participate in interactive musical tasks (e.g. singing their names, playing instruments, playing integration games). During the music-therapeutic meeting, the group managed to start writing their own song - both words and music. A big applause for all participants! You are wonderful!
At the same time, a huge thank you goes to Ms Elżbieta Radziemska - Director of SOSW for her warm welcome, trust and enabling cooperation, Mr Adam Kamiński for his big heart, openness and enormous help in coordinating the project, and Ms Beata Skawina for her assistance during the activities.
