Inherited Dream

This is the second album by the Piotr Lemańczyk Electric Band, which was created with the participation of prominent musicians from the Polish jazz scene. To the band
was joined by one of the world's most recognisable pianists, Leszek Możdżer. The previous album was released in July 2021. In 'Boost Time', Piotr Lemanczyk returned to the bass guitar, after a break of more than a decade. Inspired by the six-string electric bass, he composed music that complemented his earlier work. By exploring the sounds of 'non-acoustic' instruments, he complements and greatly expands the possibilities of artistic expression.

"I love many genres of music, but I don't want to lock myself into any one of them," - emphasises the frontman.

The project sonically references some of the genre's most prominent artists. Echoes of Allan Holdswordh, Davis's 'Bitches Brew' can be heard here,
Chick Corea Electric Band, or references to the work of the most outstanding Polish composers of the 20th century. Noble harmony, sound culture and a whole range of moods give the music a very individual character and make it unique.

The album 'Inherited Dream' is a continuation and another important stage in the band's activities. Two tracks feature vocal creations combined with collective and expressive improvisation. It is certainly a diverse and personal project for each of the Artists.
